How do I use Solis Therapy Lights? How do I set this up? What about dosage?
For effective use with this handheld device, we recommend holding it or placing it in the stand 6 to 18 inches from the treatment area. Sessions should last 2-15 minutes per area, depending on your goals and distance from the skin. Shorter sessions are ideal for surface-level treatments (like skin or topical applications), while deeper tissue treatments may require the full 15 minutes. For best results, aim to use the device daily, treating up to 2-3 areas per day.
As you start, begin with shorter sessions at a greater distance, gradually increasing time and proximity as you get comfortable.
What's the difference between your products and which one do I choose?

Handheld Device: Ideal for quick, targeted treatments on small areas like the face, neck, or specific joints. This compact device is perfect for daily use and easy to carry, offering flexibility for on-the-go therapy.
SOLO Panel (30cm): Best for targeted therapy on small areas and individual muscle groups. This smaller panel provides effective treatment while being compact enough to keep on a desktop.
SURGE and SUPREME Panels (both 90cm): Great for treating larger muscle groups or multiple joints at once. The Supreme panel is wider, providing slightly more coverage for larger treatment areas.
STUDIO Panel (180cm): Designed for those looking for full-body therapy, this panel offers the most extensive coverage, ideal for comprehensive treatments.
When choosing a device, consider the areas you wish to treat, the intensity and frequency of your therapy needs, and your preference for portability. Each of our devices is crafted with clinical-grade quality and efficacy, so you’ll receive top-notch results, no matter the size. Can I wear clothes or does the light need to be direct to my skin?
While red & near-infrared light therapy is most effective when the light directly contacts the skin, you can wear light, breathable clothing that allows the light to penetrate.
However, for optimal results, it's recommended to expose the targeted area of the skin/body directly to the light.
Is eye protection needed and is it included?
While our devices are safe and do not require eye protection, we include protective eye goggles free of charge for users' comfort. Despite common myths, the type or frequency of light our devices emit isn't inherently dangerous to the eyes. It's the brightness or intensity of the light that could pose a risk, not its specific characteristics. Therefore, we advise against looking directly into the panels because of their intensity. Just as you would avoid staring into any bright light source, we recommend either closing your eyes or diverting your gaze away from the lights during sessions.
Initially, it's advisable to start with shorter sessions at a greater distance, gradually increasing both the duration and proximity as you become more accustomed to the light's effects. Caution is advised when using the NIR spectrum on areas with potential hyperpigmentation issues, as this could exacerbate the condition. For such areas, we suggest limiting the therapy to red light only.

Is it dangerous or painful?
Red light therapy is generally considered safe and painless when used as directed. Unlike some other forms of light therapy, such as UV therapy, red light therapy does not carry the risk of skin damage or burning. It's non-invasive and doesn't generate heat, so you should not experience any discomfort during or after the treatment.
However, it's always advisable to follow the recommended guidelines and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns or underlying medical conditions.

Will it give me a tan?
No, red light therapy does not cause tanning. Unlike UV rays, which stimulate melanin production and lead to a tan, red light therapy operates in a different wavelength range that does not affect melanin production. Instead, it promotes collagen production, reduces inflammation, and enhances cellular regeneration, offering various skin benefits without tanning.
